John Appointed Brand Ambassador For UEFA Euro 2008

While the whole country has gone cricket crazy (thanks to the ongoing IPL) Bollywood hunk John Abraham seems to be more inclined towards football. The handsome hunk, who always had a soft corner for soccer, has been appointed as the brand ambassador for the UEFA European Football Championship 2008 to be held next month in Austria and Switzerland. John, who did play some serious football in his last release Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal, was also seen promoting the English Premiere League in the past. With the craze for soccer growing by leaps and bounds, broadcasters ESPN is expecting impressive ratings for the UEFA Euro 2008 which starts in June 2008. Well….with John promoting the game, we are sure that the game will also see a lot of female fan following.
